At our AGM on 29 August, we looked back at the 2025\/26 season and celebrated some of the people who made it one to remember \u2014 for sporting excellence, commitment to the club, looking after their teammates\u2026 and a few slightly more questionable achievements. \ud83c\udf32\ud83c\udf4d

\ud83c\udfc6 PLAYER OF THE YEAR \u2014 SELE THOMAS
Our 2025\/26 Player of the Year, based on performance points awarded by the captain and coaching staff after every game throughout the season. A well-deserved recognition of an outstanding season. \ud83d\udd25

\ud83c\udf4d GOLDEN PINEAPPLE \u2014 MATT MILLAR
For an unforgettable cosplay as a certain religious character during the club tour in Eindhoven. Some things that happen on tour apparently do make it back to Z\u00fcrich.

\ud83d\ude91 INJURY OF THE YEAR \u2014 GEOFFREY CHINOT
Five minutes into the game. One knock-on. One suspiciously timed injury immediately afterwards. Coincidence? The AGM has spoken. \ud83d\udd75\ufe0f\u200d\u2642\ufe0f

Only 18 months at RUZ, but already an enormous presence both on and off the pitch. A recognition of the impact Jari has made on the club in such a short time.

For his tireless commitment to the team, regularly checking in with teammates, speaking openly about his own mental health, and being there for those going through difficult moments. Rugby is about much more than what happens on the pitch.
